Abstract

The educational triad between Dance, Creativity and School Curriculum comes about with the specific example of the
attainment of the Artistic Educational Project for a Curriculum of Excellency – Pilot Project for the 1st Basic Education Cycle
developed by the UNESCO Club of Artistic Education.
We believe this Project to be an example that proves that Artistic Education is possible, it is essential , it is doable and it’s a
determinant tool for the fruitful development of what we consider to be “a true artistic education” and in which an intervention
plan in the field of the different artistic areas in a school context is developed.
Dance, in this context, as one of the artistic areas developed in the project tries to contribute to the general and harmonic
development of children, so that they learn the principles that rule movement, at the same time that the spontaneity of their
movements is preserved and that their creative capacity, aesthetic and artistic expression is promoted.
