Abstract

Built with a purpose to emphasize the importance of creativity in the development of the individual, this work reflects on the many creative environments (home, school and work), and the influences of its intervenients. Thus, in this study we address creativity, its definition and concept, the role of family and its influence on educational outcomes and the creative environment at school and in the professional world. Later studies are presented on the importance of creativity in education, and the role of artistic disciplines for creative development of the individual. Finally we present some examples of entrepreneurship, underlying the importance of literacy for the career.
