Abstract

The Educating Ambiances Project was started in 2019 in the Pedagogy course at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (São Paulo/Brazil). Its objective is to value the power of educational ambiences as a set of social, cultural, aesthetic conditions that can boost citizen social interaction and expand the cultural repertoire, articulating cultural mediation, art and educational practices. In 2022, with the participation of twelve curricular components and eleventeachers, in addition to research, proposed objects were created, considered as educational resources to arouse interest, inform, invite those who play/listen/try to visit spaces outside the classroom. The research, the production of proposed objects and experiences in Early Childhood Education schools and early steps of Basic Education were evaluated and continue to germinate actions in the continuity of the project. As much for the students as for the course and for all the professors involved, the possibility of the union between teaching, research and extension, the tripod that characterizes the function of the university, composed a rich experience in the understanding of educational processes and the context as a territory of learning.
