The concern with the artistic and cultural formation of students of Pedagogy courses, who train teachers to work in Early Childhood Education and in the steps of Elementary School in Brazil, generated the present research still in process. Using artography as a methodological proposal, professors/researchers/artists from 19 Brazilian universities planned artistic propositions as a provocation to investigate the artistic/cultural background that makes up the individual and collective repertoire of those future teachers. The rhizomatic dialogues, from the conception of the research to the first selected and experienced propositions, are offered here as a space for reflection on the challenges, difficulties and discoveries provided by the beauty of the unpredictability of the relationships between theories, between practices, between subjects, times and backgrounds, composing a corpus of study and analysis that will continue to be built collaboratively.
