Creative Dance in School: Dancing with Mathematics?

literature, since it has a central role in the integration of body intellectual, creative and aesthetic faculties, promoting a complete and balanced development in children and young people. This paper presents a work methodology with dance, focused on interdisciplinary approach, developed in the experimental section of this PhD study. This study intends to discover another potential of dance: if we relate dance with other disciplinary areas, can this also stimulate concept learning, since it encompasses the body with movement creative solutions?
We present, thus, the dance sessions of interdisciplinary scope with Mathematics, as well as the conception that headed its construction.
