Abstract

The text presents the work processes developed in the scope of the Curricular Unit of Project in Arts, Technologies and Multimedia with undergraduate students in Visual Arts and Technologies at the Lisbon School of Education. These processes are assumed as an introduction to broader artistic creation dynamics that may envision a professional dimension in the artistic and/or cultural field. In this sense, work proposals were launched, subordinated to contemporary themes, taking into account current practices in the field of visual arts and presupposing the creation of an opening space for the development of individual poetics. The article focuses on the creative processes carried out, considering aspects related to teaching-learning, practice-based research in visual arts, results as well as the links between artistic training in the context of polytechnic higher education, the possibilities and contingencies of further professional development.
