Starting from the concept of habitus, not dissociated from the “pure universes”, both in art, as in science, as in religion, and based on the concepts of field and strategy(s), a reflection is made about the specific and multidimensional habitus of the members of the Company of Jesus, covering some aspects of their journey around the world. It is a reflection on a singular, missionary habitus, incorporating strategies for the diffusion and implementation of the Christian faith and the recognition of practices, through religious migrations, which are not separated from teaching, culture, science, in short, from knowledge and acculturation of indigenous people, where art(s) are still present, in and for an appropriation of symbolic significance.
