Abstract

The present study seeks to highlight the applicability of the AT-9 technique, conceived by Yves Durand (1987, 2005) in the educational context of the fine arts. Similarly selected or link between the theory and the art of the Imaginary postulated by Gilbert Durand (1982,1985, 1993, 1996, 2002, 2014). It even proposes a pedagogy of the image through the Imaginary, a field in which sensitivity and subjectivity gain materiality through artistic practice and allow us to identify as ways of thinking, acting and feeling the determined group or individual. This study concluded that arts education should focus on the symbolic aspect of the artistic process and work of art, especially in the visual arts, allowing students to hear advanced cognitive levels using the learning process. Concluded that the AT-9, supported by Imaginary, raises aesthetic experiences that allow the student a new understanding of it and its environment.
