Abstract

This exploratory study analyzes the acceptance and use of technological tools in study preparation and artistic performance within vocational education, based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A total of 64 students and teachers from the Conservatório – Escola das Artes da Madeira, Eng. Luiz Peter Clode, participated in the study. The results reveal generally positive levels of technological acceptance, with significant differences across sociodemographic and educational groups. Perceptions of ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude, and behavioral intention showed significant correlations with the actual use of digital tools. The study supports the applicability of TAM in the artistic context, highlighting the importance of considering motivational, cognitive, and contextual factors in the design of effective digital pedagogical strategies.
